Saudi Diesel’s capability would not be possible without a comprehensive in-house training and development program, The strategy the Company employs is based on a recognition that to effectively support its products it must have a competent workforce, The Al-Khobar based training center is recognized by all its suppliers as an experienced operation, providing training for its technical staff, and to its clients.
Saudi Diesel launched its first Vocational Training Program (VTP) in 2005, with the aim of attracting young Saudi talents who want to train and work within the professional industrial field.
TThe company held a joint agreement with the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) for the purposes of the completion of the vocational training, ending in with the employment of trainees after their two year program fulfilment.
The Company now runs the program on a yearly basis, giving young Saudi Nationals the opportunity to be trained on the products it sells and supports.
The theoretical element is based on internationally recognized curricula, thus it falls in-line with other internationally qualified programs worldwide. SDEC hopes to create a domino effect of Saudization within the Kingdom; through facilitating young Saudis integration into the workforce, and by setting a successful example among others to follow.
